I had my 38 week appointment today. I am one centimeter dilated. Tomorrow is my last day of work and then it's all a waiting game from here on out! Will keep you posted!!!

- I first started this blog to express my grief after the loss of my daughter, Caroline, who was born still on October 23, 2007. I thought it was simply a place I could 'go' to get my feelings out. It has become so much more. I have found mothers who are just like me, whose words lifted me up when I needed it most. If it wasn't for them, I am not sure I would have had hope to try again. My son, Brooks, was born on April 6th, 2009 and I am now using this blog to share our life with him. I changed the title of my blog from "Emerging from the Cocoon" to "Emerged from the Cocoon" after his birth. Woohoo!!! I had an appt. today, too, and guess what? Same amount of progress over here!! Abigail's in a hurry and doesn't want Brooks to show her up. :) They'll be here in NO time.
Sounds to me like some little girls in Heaven have sweet surprises up their sleeves.... :)
